It's Time to Meet our Mentors!
Today we have six of our newest mentors with me: Charlotte, Comfort, Jacob, Jordie, Lewis, and Musa, all ready to answer some questions and tell us all about some of their favourite things!

Here at The Code Zone, we love our mentors! We literally couldn’t do this without them after all. BUT! Did you know that outside of being super awesome code mentoring beings, we also have many hobbies and interests outside of The Code Zone??
Today I have six of our newest mentors with me: Charlotte, Comfort, Jacob, Jordie, Lewis, and Musa, all ready to answer some questions and tell us all about some of their favourite things!
Question 1: What is your favourite food?
Charlotte: My favourite food is noodles!! I love ramen, udon, pho, pasta(?), anything similar!
Comfort: CAKE!
Jacob: Not a specific food but I could eat a Christmas dinner roast everyday of my life
Jordie: I have a big sweet tooth, so I love doughnuts, cheesecake and biscuits! I always make myself an oreo cheesecake for my birthday!
Lewis: Welsh Rarebit
Musa: Biryani
Question 2: What is your favourite game
Charlotte: One of my most memorable experiences as a kid was walking into GAME and testing out Guitar Hero (Guitar Hero 2) in the store! I'm still obsessed and I recently got a plug and play guitar for my PC so I can relive my rockstar memories. If not, you can find me jamming out at my nearest Guitar Hero Arcade Machine!
Comfort: Currently, Fields of Mistria and Overcooked 2
Jacob: Pokemon Soul silver
Jordie: I adore Pokemon, specifically the platinum version alongside Soulsilver, where I have spent a few thousand hours on the games! I also love animal crossing, where I would own a town with my sister and make friends with the friendly animal villagers!
Lewis: Spyro the Dragon
Musa: Modded Minecraft
Question 3: If you could live in any game world, which would you choose and why?
Charlotte: This is a tough one! I think I'd go with living in the Pokemon world. I'd love more cute and cuddly pets and companions to hang out with. My favourite Pokemon is Wailmer and it'd be a dream come true to be friends with one!
Comfort: This is hard! Maybe a mix between a cozy game and an adventure game.
Jacob: Pokemon! The thought of having a little Aipom on my shoulders helping me through life would be pretty sweet. Imagine flying to work on a Dragonite! It would just be a cool world to live in.
Jordie: I 100000000% would live in the Pokemon world, as I think it would be super fun and rewarding to work alongside these powerful creatures! I would want to be a Pokemon professor studying them too!
Lewis: If I could live in any world, it'd be Minecraft, because then I could have a big mansion house for free.
Musa: Roblox! As there are so many different and endless games to play
Question 4: What's your secret talent? (or just a fun fact about you!)
Charlotte: I'm also a Game Developer, Animator and Artist! In my spare time, I love developing games and making some art :slightly_smiling_face: One of my favourite games I've worked on was included in an anthology of games all based around Tarot Cards! I love being creative and also run a sketch group in my local town.
Comfort: I love baking, I need to do it more often.
Jacob: In my spare time I am a singer/songwriter. More impressive than that though, I can balance a guitar on two fingers for an obscenely long amount of time. I also make an insanely good white chocolate and Lotus Biscoff cheese cake.
Jordie: A fun fact about me is that I am an identical twin! I am the oldest by 5 minutes!
Lewis: My other option besides programming was in English. Decided to go with programming for my job, but I probably do just as much creative writing as I write code! - mostly short stories and poems.
Musa: Fun fact is that I used to have 3 pet chickens
Last Question! What is your favourite game from The Code Zone?
Charlotte: Hard to say cause I haven't had a chance to play them all yet! One of the first games I got to work on in clubs was Bouncy Bot and I really loved the game feel of that one! Once I discovered rainbow code though, every game can easily become my favourite.
Comfort: The Amazing Maze
Jacob: I find Knockout arena so fun it can go from a really nice chilled out game, to manic fight to stay in the ring in a matter of seconds.
Jordie: My favourite code zone game would be "My Pet Monkey" as I think monkeys are funny!
Lewis: Dino Jump
Musa: Space explorer
