Alex is a Game Dev Club mentor, Pokémon mega-fan (especially Oshawott), and lover of all ideas - big and small.

Looking back the first game I can ever remember completing 100%was Lego Pirates of the Caribbean on the Wii - I couldn't get enough of it, absolute classic! Games have been a real passion for me ever since, and I love chatting with Hackers about their ideas and finding ways to make them a reality.

Scratch is an incredible platform - it's easy to get started with and super flexible for any sort of game you'd like to make. In our clubs, I always encourage the group to feel confident and happy with their code. No problem is too tricky to solve, and I love to see Hackers show off their lovely games!

In my own time, I love to write stories, play underwater hockey (my favourite sport) and share pictures of pugs - undeniably the sweetest dogs in the world.
